Retail Sales Specialist: Sioux City, IA 51101
Advantage Sales and Marketing is currently hiring for a Retail Sales Specialist.
Job Purpose Clients:
Supermarkets - the client will assign a weekly schedule to frequent the accounts.
Job Responsibilities Distribution Meet client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKU's.
Customer Relations (Internal/External) Must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally with ASM management and externally with all Customers.
Sales Sell at store level live orders on multiple clients (>5 clients) in over 50% of their stores on the monthly basis.
Increase sales volume by constantly suggesting and completing orders for new and out-of-stock items.
Merchandising Maintain client objectives by insuring all authorized client items represented on the shelf have accurate and complete tags and making certain that un-saleable or out-of-code product is removed.
Shelf Standards and Conditions Will work on the authorization of items to meet Client shelf schematic standards.
Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf.
Territory Management Achieve client goals and objectives by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards.
Increase brand representation and effectiveness through establishing and maintaining customer and client relationships.
Spend over 4-days per month in preparing and making wholesaler sub-group headquarter calls with a minimum of four sub-group calls.
Administration/Reporting Will complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
Job Requirements:
Previous retail sales and customer service experience.
Pass background screening process.
Ability to travel to assigned clients within an assigned territory.
Ability to work required work schedule and shift.
Strong self-management skills.
Ability to complete daily procedures and responsibilities with good judgment and without direct supervision.
Dependable, registered, and insured transportation.
Number of hours per week Work Shift Start Time 8:
00 AM Work Shift End Time 5:
00 PM Flexible Start Time 6 AM - 8 AM Overnight Travel 4 nights per month We offer a competitive hourly wage (rate depends on experience), partial drive time, and partial reimbursed cents per mile.
