Senior Manager, Tax(Paid Membership Site) - Leading Frozen Food Company (Marshall, MN)

Executes complex company decisions related to participation in various grants available to the company, secures buy-in from senior leaders, and develops and executes implementation plan based on regulations.
Demonstrates an acute knowledge of federal and multi-state corporate income tax laws and how the laws apply to Schwan s sustainability, values, mission, and goals.
Accountable to stay abreast of tax law changes, interprets changes and effectively plans a strategy handling the potential impact of tax law changes on the company.
Assists with Mergers and Acquisition due diligence process to ensure proper procedures from a tax standpoint.
Develops and builds relationships with Corporate Accounting and Business Units to create an awareness of tax department reporting needs, as well as those of the entire company.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor s Degree required.
Masters Degree in Taxation, MBA or Law Degree preferred Years of Related
Experience:
12 to 15 years related work experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Specific Tax expertise in Federal and Multi-state income taxation Strong accounting and analytical skills Computer proficiency in a Windows operating environment including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Thorough working knowledge of tax software and accounting systems Thorough working knowledge of tax law, generally accepted accounting principles, and regulatory requirements (SOX) Ability to produce work within fixed time frames Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, shifting priorities as needed Strong project management skills to effectively utilize company personnel and assets CPA or law degree preferred Source:
