Position Title:
Clinical Pharmacist, Lead Department:
Pharmacy The Clinical Pharmacist, Lead will serve as a clinical resource for the provision of pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy services at the site level, build effective relationships with other healthcare professionals and departments within the health system, and coordinate all activities related to the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and formulary management.
The Clinical Pharmacist, Lead acts as a clinical resource for pharmaceutical products, formulary management and the development and management of pharmacoeconomic programs to streamline medication costs.
Report To:
Director, Pharmacy Materials Responsibility:
Moderate:
Work requires moderate responsibility for material resources.
Examples of resources could include operating budgets for a work unit or department, specialized equipment, costly or unusual materials or supplies, large amounts of cash or other material assets.
The employee has a moderate amount of control over these resources.
The cost of errors might result in moderate damage, waste or financial loss.
The difficulty, variety and depth of problems associated with these material resources is moderately complex.

Pharmacist-D degree or equivalent experience Field Of Study:
Pharmacy Licensure/Registration:
Registered Pharmacist in Iowa.
Pharmacist applicants obtaining their initial licensure must obtain their Iowa Pharmacist Registration within 6 months of hire.
Those applicants registered in another state must obtain their Iowa Pharmacist Registration within 6 months of hire.
Experience:
More than 3 years experience required.
