Customer Service Representative Department:
Sales General Description Responsible for daily communication with customers and preparation of job dockets.
Key
Responsibilities:
Work with internal and external customers in a positive, friendly and proactive manner.
Assist in delivery of customer products.
Maintain order status reports and inventory control for customers as needed.
Support Sales staff as needed.
Assist in month end inventory.
Enter orders and review and communicate with both internal and external customers.
Invoice customer based on product shipment.
Expected to engage production associates on the floor regarding their customers and product lines at least twice weekly.
Comply with all Hood Packaging Corporation Sales and Customer Service policies and work instructions.
Serve as an advocate for the customer in the Hood Packaging Corporation organization.
Any other duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager or general management.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Understand order entry policies and practices.
Is capable of working with customers to fully develop and document customer requirements.
Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Have a positive attitude.
Be customer oriented.
Be familiar with and follow Sales and Customer Service policies and work instructions.
Able to work effectively and accurately under pressure.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in flexible packaging/graphics or equivalent.
Training:
On:
the:
job, with Customer Service Manager or qualified Customer Service Representative.
Experience:
Two to five years experience or degree in flexible packaging/graphics or related field.
Physical Demands:
Ability to speak and communicate clearly on the telephone.
Have the physical coordination and ability to operate a personal computer and other office equipment.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
