Job Description:
ATG, a 50-person software firm, located in West Des Moines, IA, currently has openings for experienced.
NET or Java developers.
ATG, established in 1991, develops and maintains software solutions for judicial agencies for the Federal and several State Governments and is one of the largest firms in its market.
All software design, development and support are done from our office in West Des Moines.
ATG offers the unique advantage of being able to work on many different aspects of the software development, and working with a group of people who are very skilled, creative and supportive.
Given the broad range of software systems (see below) that we develop and support, employees get to learn in depth completely different types of business requirements.
The following are minimum requirements for software development:

Bachelor''s Degree or 3 years software development experience.
.
At least one year of experience developing either applications in either.
NET or Java.
MTSC or SCJP certification is valued, those without certification will be rewarded to get them while at ATG.

Clear understanding of relational database structures and rudimentary knowledge of SQL development is a necessary skill.
.
Ability to work well in small groups.
ATG develops following software products which are licensed by some of the country's largest judicial agencies.
Banking and Commissary Systems.
Electronic Health Records and Pharmacy System.
Food Service Administration and Nutrition System.
Investigation System.
Intelligence System.
Case Management System.
Electronic Message and Funds Transfer System ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Daily.
Write software using.
NET, Silverlight or Java development tools.

Ability to interact with complex database structures in Microsoft's SQL Server or IBM's DB/2.

Work in small groups of developers to deliver a robust and scalable software solution SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
Bachelor''s degree (B.

) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
