Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician - 10586zzz0306 The Medical Laboratory Scientist/CLS is required to perform clinical laboratory testing and other necessary duties to keep the department functioning smoothly.
Overall will demonstrate technical competency and will consult with the supervisor when necessary.
The MLS/CLS must understand the use and limitations of laboratory instruments and equipment, must demonstrate proficiency in assigned areas of the laboratory, and be able to learn and utilize new technology as laboratory medicine changes.
Must be able to work with growth and development needs of unique client populations for the following age groups:
neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
