Biomedical Equipment Technician
Job Summary :
Specific Responsibilities :
Will perform PM's and minor repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment Willing to travel in MN, IA, ND, & SD for field service calls Will assure accurate database entry and reports Expected to meet production goals set for department Will participate in department on call rotation Will travel (ground and air) on occasion to customer facilities to complete on-site service including overnight stays Perform phone consultations with customers who require troubleshooting for their equipment Responsible for shipping and receiving activities JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Knowledge Basic troubleshooting ability Can work independently from home based operation Some knowledge of various hospital / homecare medical equipment Excellent customer communication skills Computer literate with an understand
ing of spreadsheets and other forms Understanding of and ability to operate basic electronic test equipment Associate's Degree in an electronic field, preferably biomedical, or a combination of education and experience Strong work ethic and focus on quality work Must be neat and organized. SKILLS Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain focus with intermittent distractions Strong organization and time management skills Professionalism and mature sense of accountability ABILITIES Enthusiasm for the Tollos Mission Ability to work closely with other members of the Tollos Team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly Ability to communicate clearly in writing Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Ability to work under pressure with positive attitude Ability to remain flexible and respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results Assist with parts and equipment inventory control Willing to perform other duties and tasks as directed by the Service Manager Can repeatedly lift 40 to 50 lbs throughout the course of the day Can stand for long periods of time Click here to apply.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
